From the smell of food on the grill and fresh-cut grass in the yard to the tang of sunscreen on your lips, summer is a season tailor-made for our sense of smell. We are transported in the blink of an eye as scents conjure a lifetime of memories.
Delicious scents greeted us everywhere we went when we visited Franklin, Tennessee for this month's Round Trip travel feature. From some of the best barbecue we've ever had at Puckett's BBQ, to coffee beans roasted fresh at Honest Coffee, to hand-dipped candles at Southern Firefly Candle Co., our trip to Franklin was hot, humid, and full of that famous southern hospitality. The best part: We brought plenty back to share.
From Franklin, we set out in search of outdoor cooking essentials – from biodegradable plates and utensils, to the perfect camp chairs to take a load off, to official Airstream cornhole sets to keep everyone busy while the food's on the grill. It's all here, ready to help you squeeze the last drops of sunshine out of this busy season.
