The Airstream Heritage Center is a vast archive of the company's 90-year history. We love diving into those archives, where decades-old brochures, schematics, and technical manuals, as well as countless photographs and reels of film show a company that evolved with the times as the way we travel changed.
In the 1930s, Wally began producing rounded wooden and Masonite Airstream models including the Silver Cloud. The Silver Cloud featured a galley at the left of the door, a double bed at the rear, and a breakfast nook that turned into a double bed or twin beds. It was a popular model that contributed to Airstream’s early success.
