This 12 LED 12 volt Warm White chip is used in any spot reading light that uses a G-4 thru G6 (two pin) halogen bulb. This LED chip is a lot cooler and is not polarity sensitive (plug it in and it works). You do NOT need to worry about your hands getting fluids on these LEDs and damaging the light, unlike the halogen bulb. The life span of this LED is 5000 hours and uses 12% the power of the halogen that it replaces. One of the greatest advantages of this LED upgrade is the temperature. This light has a noticeable difference on those hot summer days when AC is needed.
