Care Instructions for Flannel Sheets
- Use the highest water level possible, cold, on gentle/delicate cycle
- Recommended to add in an extra rinse cycle after the initial wash to remove any detergent residue as this can also contribute to stiffness or wearing out prematurely
- Low heat tumble dry or air dry for best results.
Note: Flannel is prone to pilling and shedding due to the type of thread and weave. Most often it is caused by friction from the flannel fabric rubbing against itself during a vigorous wash cycle. This is more common in low water or high efficiency washing machines as the lack of water causes much more friction then a full wash tub would.
