Note on Mattresses:

Please note that mattresses MUST be removed from their packaging within 2 weeks of receiving. Mattress quality is not guaranteed if stored in the box for more than 2 weeks. The 5 year warranty does not cover any mattresses that have been sitting in their packaging. Contact customer service for questions regarding the limited 5 year warranty.

Cloudlike Comfort—Buy Only If You Have a Storage Plan

We’re very happy with this three-inch memory-foam topper with the cooling option, which we bought together with the Airstream bed-in-a-bag sheet and comforter system for our Interstate 24GT. It truly feels like sleeping on a cloud, and the materials, stitching, fabric, and customer service are all 10/10. We would absolutely buy it again.

The tradeoff is storage. Rolled tightly and secured with four six-foot yoga straps, bought separately, ours is approximately the width of the van and 2½ feet in diameter. It fits behind the seats in our 24GT, but rolling it compactly takes two people, and lifting it over the rear seat requires a reasonably strong back. It isn’t compact or effortless, so we wouldn’t recommend it without a realistic storage plan. After several trips, however, setup and storage have become easier, and the exceptional comfort and sleep is well worth the effort—while still allowing us to reclaim the lounge during the day. If one of us travels alone, we will probably leave it in place and use our smaller front lounge space.

Overall the memory foam works great

Overall the memory foam works great. It s a perfect for the Interstate 19. Just wish there was a better storage option for it when not in use. We leave it on when converting to a couch it's just a pain to pull it back each time. So much of the time we just leave it as a bed.

Thanks so much for sharing your feedback! We totally get that space is at a premium—especially in the compact Interstate 19. One solution we often suggest is using a compression mattress bag. It allows you to vacuum-seal the pad, making it much easier to store when not in use.

Impossible to store

This pad is needed to improve the very firm mattress in the Interstate 19. The biggest obstacle is storage when not in use.

Thank you for your feedback! We completely understand that storage can be a challenge, especially with the limited space in an Interstate 19. One option we recommend is a compression mattress bag—it allows you to vacuum the pad down and significantly reduces the space needed for storage when it’s not in use.
