Enter the Hekla Portable Propane Campfire by LavaBox. Small but mighty, the Hekla is a game-changer for Airstreamers who want to enjoy the ambiance of a fire without the hassle of buying firewood and dealing with smoke. With an innovative design reminiscent of an old-school ammo box, the Hekla is built from full 304 stainless-steel with a patent-pending stainless steel burner. The five-foot hose attaches to a brass fitting on the Hekla and a standard propane tank fitting on the other end. Simply light the burner and turn up the gas.
Named after a famous Icelandic volcano, the Hekla isn't simply flickering flame to be mesmerized by – like its namesake, the Hekla puts out some serious heat. The Hekla comes with LavaBox's cheekily named Over/Under Grill Thingy, which works as a stand to raise the Hekla off the ground for more safety, or you can use it as a grill grate on top of the Hekla (or even as a hot plate).
And best of all, its small size is perfect for stowing in the Airstream storage compartment.
